About

At Mosaic Hope Therapy, we believe healing is deeply personal—a mosaic of experiences, resilience, and growth. Our approach starts where the client is, working collaboratively to develop a plan that supports their struggles and fosters hope in their daily lives.
Heather Hankins, the founder of Mosaic Hope Therapy, specializes in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Prolonged Exposure (PE) for PTSD, with extensive experience in treating borderline personality disorder (BPD), emotional regulation challenges, self-harm, and suicidal behaviors. Additionally, Heather is trained in Radically Open DBT (RO-DBT), a powerful intervention designed for individuals struggling with over-controlled emotions, perfectionism, and social isolation. If RO-DBT seems like the most appropriate path, we can provide referrals to a specialized RO-DBT group for additional support that aligns with your therapy.
Beyond DBT, Heather integrates Motivational Interviewing (MI) to help clients uncover their internal motivation for change—particularly beneficial for individuals with ADHD, OCD, or those navigating life transitions. Our practice also incorporates Solution-Focused Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), ensuring a personalized approach tailored to each client’s needs.
Heather has experience working with adults, teenagers, and Employee Assistance Program (EAP) clients, helping them navigate workplace stress, anxiety, and emotional difficulties. Mosaic Hope Therapy operates exclusively via telehealth, making quality care accessible from the comfort of your home.
